F-15C Freedom Eagle Dedication and Veterans Day Celebration
November 11, 2011
The Chico Air Museum was honored to have over 50 U.S. Military Veterans in attendance in our dedicaton ceremony for our newly aquired F-15C "Freedom Eagle" fighter aircraft. This celebration took place on November 11, 2011. It began with an inspiratonal performance by Explorer Post 637 color guard presentation and Pledge of Allegiance. The Master of Ceremonies for the event was Dino Corbin who expertly lead the honoring of the Veterans in attendance and thanked all the CAM volunteers and supporters for their work  in aquiring the Freedom Eagle. Also in honor of the Veterans, two vintage aircraft performed flybys . The aircraft were a Navy N3N biplane and  Fairchild PT-26 flown by Tom Aylward and Charles Mueller respectively. The finale was provided by the incomparable West Coast Ravens Formation Flight Team  performing the  "Missing Man" formation.
